You will have a 10-15 minute warm-up, 40-45 minutes and of cardiovascular FUN!! and a 5 minute cool down and stretch. HERE ARE THE BENEFITS! It's fun, easy, different and effective which burns approximately 500-600 calories an hour. It is a interval workout, therefore, your heart rate will speed up and slow down again while toning and sculpting your body, while dancing to great music. "It's a feel happy workout" NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! You do not need to know how to dance to do Zumba. This is for everyone. Zumba is great for the mind, body and soul! It's a party-like, "no thinking" atmosphere. Zumba was created by Alberto Perez (Beto) in his native country of Columbia in the mid 1990's by accident. One day Beto was preparing to teach a class and realized he had forgotten his regular music. He improvised using his own personal tapes. He created a class using Latin music and traditional dance moves. From that day his classes have been in great demand and became the most popular in the health club where he was teaching. By 1999, Beto brought the class to the United States and by 2001, the name Zumba was born and launched all over the world. This is Beto! Zumba puts FUN back into FITNESS! |
